Whether you've played TCG's before or not, it's always a good idea to give the rules a read-through! You never know what you may find! ; Trade Post ; In order to play properly, you must have a website to display your cards on! There must also be a link back to Jackpot on the site! That way, people can go 'Huh, wonder what that TCG is like? *click*' Please have your tradepost set up before you submit a join form! Can't find a place to host your trade post? Some people use Livejournal, but others use Geocities or Freewebs! We would appreciate the use of an actual website, but we will accept Livejournal usage. (Why? It is much easier to navigate an actual site. Livejournal is also very good about being easily navigate-able! :)) About the actual trade log. You need to keep one! A trade log is just a place where you keep track of cards received and cards traded! It would be much appreciated if you could keep it as detailed as possible, but a slip up every once in a blue moon won't get you fired. ;) It's really very simple to maintain! Here are some examples!: Bad Trade Logs: 6-7-08: Got balloons01 and eyes07 from games. Or 6-7-08: Traded away carpediem11. Good Trade Logs: 6-7-08: Got balloons01 and eyes07 from Medium Puzzle. Or 6-7-08: Traded my carpediem11 for [name]'s fruit19. ; Joining/Starter Pack ; When choosing a name to go by, please try to pick something relatively, i don't know, name-like? It's great that your screen name is xEv1l~DrAg0n261, but it really is not very functional for a TCG. Try something simple with no numbers or odd characters! :) When you join, please use the Join form located on the Join page! Type 'Mc. Rich' after your name on the join form to earn an extra card in your starter pack! Starter packs consist of 2 cards from the deck you've told us you are collecting, 3 random cards and 10 coins! You will receive your starter deck within a week of sending the join form. In reality, it may only be a few hours, but just in case. :) Once you have received your starter pack, please have it up on your trade post within a week! Once your cards are up, go ahead and start playing! ; Games ; A note on games! Games may only be played once per update! When the date changes and I tell you that games are updated, feel free to play again! Replaying games is also considered cheating! :3 ; Forum ; We don't have one yet, so don't worry about it! :D ; Lastly ; You may not take update freebies from before your join date! Your join date is the day you sent the form requesting to join! Please do not jump the gun, as it is considered cheating! A note about cheating. Everyone knows how easy it is to cheat here, but please refrain! There is no fun in the game if you get everything you want without working towards it! Put 'D.F.W. likes pizza!' in the comments box for an extra card in your starter pack! Cheating includes not taking down cards you have traded or taking cards you haven't earned or refreshing a reward page until you get a card you want! So you're ready to join now? Go ahead and proceed to the join page!
